You can find copywriting tips and ideas from almost anywhere. After watching the classic war movie The Dirty Dozen, I came up with the following:
Copywriting isn't instant pudding. It takes more than ten minutes to come up with good copy.
Make it interesting, informative, and entertaining : "You've seen a general inspecting troops before haven't you? Just walk slow, act dumb and look stupid!"
Make it clever: - "And kill any officer in sight!" -"Ours or theirs?"
3. Copywriters have their own "thought process." Asking them to describe it is useless.
It doesn't matter how you look or what you wear, as long as you get the job done.
Inspiration can come from where you least expect it
The creative process can be fun, but sometimes can be ugly
Occasionally, there can be swearing.
Ideas can come from anywhere.
You can rearrange your ideas any way you want, until they click.
Improvisation
Micromanagement will only hurt the creative process
Things will end up as they were planned, in order, or according to the brief originally
There will be arguments about silly details like should a letter be capitalized.
After approval, something better will always come up. Write it down, save it for the next project.
